COTOBIKE 1 DAY

Cotopaxi National Park is an exciting day that begins with spectacular views of the unique Andean Landscape in the Volcanoes Avenue .Once inside the National Park,  we hike up to the refuge Jose Rivas. We will return to the parking lot, then we are going to do down hill with bikes to Limpiopungo Lake. Lunch. And take our way back to Quito.

The weather of Cotopaxi is unpredictable so we recommend bringing warm clothing with you.

ITINERARY:

  • Travel to Cotopaxi National Park. (metting point: Foch y Juan León Mera- Restaurant Magic Bean 7 am or San Blas square- 7:20am)
  • Arrive to parking.
  • Explanation about volcano /animals/ plants/etc.
  • Start hiking to Jose Rivas Refugee (4800m).
  • Hike down to parking place, followed by short bikes briefing.
  • Down Hilling (Bikes) to Limpiopungo Lake.
  •  
  • Return to Quito.
